Instructions:
Here’s an activity that can make for a great surprise – the only catch is that you’ll need to set it up after your kid goes to bed for the night. That way, it will be ready the moment he or she wakes up the next morning.
What, exactly, will your child discover? Arrows – lots of them.
Place pieces of paper with large arrows drawn on them all around the house; beginning with the first arrow, your child will follow them all around to reach the end – at which point you will have placed a special breakfast treat, tickets for a lobbied for future family outing, or a birthday surprise.
How intricate should the arrow arrangement be? That’s up to you – gauge the design to your child’s abilities.
Do be sure to put something worthwhile at the “end of the rainbow,” however. Failing to do so will lead to a severe erosion in credibility!
This Childrens Activity is sponsored by Zane Education – the home of online Visual Learning.
