Study Diseases, Sex Education & Puberty using Online Video. Use the Subtitles to improve Reading & Literacy Skills .....at the same time!

A selection of 5 of our online videos on Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases, Puberty and Sex Education provides children and students of the appropriate age, with the opportunity to learn about approaching Adolescence, Sex Education, Communicable and Non-communicable Diseases, and Teen Pregnancy to the required K-12 standards - with sensitivity and discretion.

Our videos discuss and provide information about girls and boys approaching adolescence and the changes they encounter, communicable and non- communicable diseases, and teenage pregnancy and parenthood.

Girls and boys entering adolescence can learn about the new emotions and the physical changes of puberty as their bodies prepare them for adulthood, and start to understand the physiology of maturation and the primary and secondary changes of growth pattern, skin, body, hair, and body contour.

Learn about the type of disease found in the human body known as communicable and non- communicable diseases, the means of transmission and examples of diseases will be explored. And you also have the opportunity to meet Jessica, a 17-year-old high school senior, and Hillary, a 15-year-old ninth grader; who both are within weeks of giving birth.

Witness the experiences of each of these young women as they attend childbirth education classes, communicate with their delivery coaches, and experience routine prenatal exams in preparation for the arrival of their babies.

After watching these online videos students can then use our online interactive quizzes to discover what they have learnt and strengthen their understanding of the subject.
